SKELETAL HORROR(after FUR 'N' SEEK quest)

Just a few ideas for you on how i tamed this big bag of bones

After completing the wish list of the Odd Old Man we have the option to find out the secret of this poor old lad's mumbling ruck-sack.

A level 320 beastie that after a couple of tries actually turned out to be quite easy, hope this helps.

EQUIPMENT:-

Your best melee gear
Super set (inc.Super Defence)
1 x Prayer pot
A one click tele to get you back to a bank or out of trouble if needs be
Then fill your inventory with your best food

PREPARATION:-

Talk to the Old man again after completing his wish list and accept his challenge.

Walk to the right(east) of his settlement and you will see a stile made of bones.

Before entering drink your super set and put on protect from mage and also piety if you can use this.

THE BATTLE:-

Cross the stile and you are lead to the arena where the fight starts pretty much straightaway.

He hits hard but don't panic just keep eating as you go.

The trick to this battle is he starts to lose body parts

Both hands and his tail bone. As soon as you see an extra yellow dot appear on your mini-map, run to it, pick it up, and bury it straight away.

Each time you do this he loses 80 off his combat level making him progressively weaker and the battle easier and easier.

By the time he's down to Level 100 the battle is all but won.

Just make sure you keep your prayer and health topped up and you'll find it pretty straightforward.

One quick tip, if you stand near the stile to fight him, if at any stage you need to log out urgently or are worried about your health level, just click on the stile and you're back to safety. Unfortunately you'll have to top up your inventory before returning as old Bone Head returns to full health.....and limbs WOOT!!

REWARDS:-

Return to the Odd Old Man (minus his ruck-sack you'll notice) and after a brief history of how he got lumbered with Mr Bone Head you'll be awarded slayer and prayer xp and your Ram's Head helm or Bone-sack will be enchanted.

Talk to him again and he'll tell you, you can return once each week to battle the Boss again for more xp, and that you can use your helm/bone-sack to teleport directly there.

psst - Skeletal horror attacks with both mage and melee

Whilst he has both his arms he can attack with magic - so i pray Magic - after he losses his arms he will only attack with melee so you can swap prayers to protect melee
