~ How Kin beat Nomad ~
I’ve killed him woot! Very chuffed with myself =D But had people asking how I did it – here it goes:
Level –
Prayer: 76
Range: 78
Defence: 99
Summoning: 82
Wearing –
Netz helm, glory, Black dhide body and chaps, avas accumulator, d boots, barrows gloves, rune cbow, ruby (e) bolts, dfs
Invantory –
Diamond (e) bolts, 10-12 super restore pots, rest = sara brews
Beast of Burden –
War tortoise (know someone who’s done it with terror but hey =P)
Filled with sara brews with the last spot being an attacking familiar (mine was moss titan)
Prayer –
Mage sap and Mage deflect [credit to fear]
When melee berserk swap to Melee sap and deflect
Reasons:
Restore Potions = keep range stat up (as sara brews weaken it) PLUS prayer restore
BOB last spot attacking fam = not only are more saras vital but the last spot being an attacker means that you, first, know that your bob is empty and second, can summon the attacker to help you kill nomad (at the end when he was melee berserk this moss titan did all the damage lol) [credit to Kiwi!]

I think that’s a fair assessment lol, but anyway.
His normal attacks are apparently mage and melee – he only attacks melee if he is next to you – and you’re not protected from his mage attacks by your curses. Which either means he attacks with range as well, or he’s just evil -.- but I feel that the curses help reduce damage.
Besides his normal ouchy attacks he also has 3 special attacks – but I think of them as 4 =S, whatever lol. Now, they always go in this order:
1. He says: ‘Lets make things interesting’ and drops these little red bombs around you. DON’T STEP ON THESE. They’re not friendly bombs. Simply walk out diagonally from these and you will be fine. (nomad still attacks you as you are getting out of the way of the bombs) It’s important not to panic =P [I panicked and died =D)
2. Now, during the time between these bombs dropping down and blowing up, Nomad will turn to the south and say: ‘you cannot hide from my wrath’ and start to charge for an attack that will always hit 75hp – this is what I would call the second special attack that comes during the first =D [hope that’s not too confusing] but the basic thing to remember about this attack is that you CAN hide from it. You just run behind a pillar! Woot – 75hp I don’t think so! [here is a great time to heal, dump vials, restock from your familiar] IMPORTANT – you don’t stay behind the pillar too long, after he has attacked with the 75 hit he will run toward the pillar and get stuck but when he says: Face Me! You need to get out from behind the pillar or he will heal completely (never had it happen to me) but then I didn’t hide for long as you can angle your camera so you can see when the attack hits the pillar (if the little yellow dot moving isnt enough of a give away =D)
3. After this he will say: ‘lets see how your senses serve you’ and will clone himself x4 (so there are 4 of him in a diamond shape – North, South, east and west) these clones will hit you for 5 each time, and will only stop when you have found the real one. The trick here: the real nomad will attack slightly later then the others. I was always standing between the east and south nomads as you can see all of them with that camera angle.
4. the last special is the dreaded: +1 of your max. This is where he teles you to the middle of the room and says: ‘lets see how much punishment you can take’ and will begin charging the attack. At this time its vital you get above your max! Don’t drink any super restores as you will need to heal again right after and it will be a waste. Switch to diamond bolts as you will be very annoyed if you drain your health with ruby right before he attacks lol. [here is a good time, after you have healed, to dump some vials, restock from your familiar] He will unleash his attack and you have a little time to heal, restore and swap back to ruby (e) before he attacks normally.
[He cycles through these attack in this order, with his ‘normal’ attacks after each special – he’s a nasty bugger isnt he =P]
Other Naughty tricks Nomad has:
a. when he first gets to ¼ health he heals to ½ half (he will say something like: your tougher then I gave you credit for, lest even things out)
b. when he gets to ¼ health again he goes melee berserk (cant remember what he says at this point but it’s something along the lines of: enough is enough, or I’ve had enough of this) At this point I swapped prayer to sap and deflect melee. He was hitting loads of 0’s – not sure if this is cause I have 99 defence or the curses. Meh. Handy trick: have your quick select curses on sap melee, deflect melee as it’s much faster when he charges at you then going into the prayer tab and changing them manually. (of course you will have to select mage at the very beginning of the fight but it’s much better to do it this way round then fumbling around in the fight).
I looked at the guide on tip.it and found it a bit vague; I hope this is helpful for those that haven’t beaten Nomad yet. Didnt know that Nazg had done a video one lols, but i worked hard typing this 3 people have asked me already so it's here now. the last video in nazg's post shows him walking out south, this clearly works as well, but i went diagonally and hide behind the middle pillar to the east =D
Credit to Fear for his awesome guidance with the curses! Credit to Kiwi for attacker familiar idea and bob last slot idea (although I altered it ) I would say credit to Oce (but you don’t know who it is. You might no Lor – who did it with terrorbird (props to him loool) And of course special mention to Sparky who supplied me with mountains of sara brews!

Good guide Kino .... one extra thing that helps is to set your familiar icon (right click option to "take from BOB" this allows a 1 click on the icon to take from bob very easy ...... Kiwi
